Rue De La Course

Rue De La Course, 3121 Magazine St.This is one of two rue locations. This one seems to cultivate more of a surly attitude in its servers; perhaps they hope that if you feel lucky even to be able to order a beverage, you will not take the shop for granted and will come back. The ambience is quite pleasant, with high ceilings, a french/european sensibility, ceiling fans to keep the space cool and piped-in classical music. There is plenty of outside seating, which is always in demand in this very popular stretch of magazine street. The restrooms are spacious and clean. The hours are as expansive as any coffee shop in the city; it opens at 6:30 a.m.weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends, and it is open until 11 p.m. Cash only.
